During these pandemic days its a shame for our civilization that we are not being kind to the migrant workers returning to their homelands from their workplaces due to the announcement of lockdown ....we are being inhuman with them in fear of contamination of disease and selfishness... centuries back the Buddhist monk Upagupta conquered this fear , nursed Basavdutta with his own hands and saved her life. Basavdutta, as mentioned by Nobel Laureate  and Indian poet Rabindranath Tagore in his poem Abhisar, was once an esteemed court dancer of Mathura  suffering from a deadly contagious disease and disowned by her near and dear ones.

Special Note About Singer:

"Oh, Suffering World" is a beautiful song sung by Oh Kim Leng when he was still in the Specialist Teachers Training College in Kuala Lumpur. I brought him into the Wayfarers when we were working on our first album. Three years later in 1985, when he graduated with a Gold Award of Distinction, he was sent to Sarawak as a teacher trainee. While bringing his students to bathe in a river in the Sarawakian jungle, he fractured his spinal cord and was paralysed from neck down. Although still paralyzed, Kim Leng is a much sought-after tuition teacher for Bahasa Malaysia in Melaka. Kim Leng continues to be an inspiring figure. Unfortunately, he can no longer sing like what he did in the album because he has no control over his lungs and diaphragm, which are required for singing and voice control.

Sunset @ Sea
(Thailand)
Duration: 4 mins 23 secs

"Sunset @ sea" is a piece of meditation music that presents the mood of  the sunset atmosphere like you are looking at the golden sun has just gone while it is slowly touching the border of the oceanline. Then it is the sign for you to take a rest. So you are going to finish the busy working day when the sun light fade away. The sound of the crystal singing bowls will adjust your brain wave from beta state to alpha state that will release your stress, tension and negative emotions and make your body & mind fully relaxed.
